Foundation for Boyertown Education Executive Director Position
Executive Director:
The Executive Director reports to the Foundation for Boyertown Education Board of Directors and is responsible for fund development for the Foundation. This key position coordinates and oversees the implementation of programs and supports the Foundation through funding sources to sustain and expand the organization’s vision of excellence in education.

The Executive Director also serves as the point of contact for all Foundation programs with a major emphasis on fundraising activities. The Executive Director collaborates with the Foundation Board and committee members to meet annual budgetary and program goals as well as coordinates with the Boyertown School District Superintendent.

Professional Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Transparent and high integrity leadership.
  • Five or more years senior nonprofit management experience.
  • Five or more years fundraising experience especially at the major gift level; Campaign experience required.
  • Solid, hands-on, budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making and reporting required.
  • Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation required.
  • Ability to convey a vision.
  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector.
  • Skills to collaborate with and motivate Board members and other volunteers.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Social Media Skills including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, website maintenance etc. are a plus.
  • Technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
Salary commensurate with Education and Experience. This is a full-time position.
